1980s Curtis Jere Brass Ribbon Brutalist Sculpture on Marble Base

Vintage brass ribbon sculpture by Curtis Jere. Displays quite well, quality metal work on a solid marble base. Large scale and free of repairs but the brass fitting/insert for the hole is missing, there is no signature or stickers. Still stands straight, spins easily, still a solid fit without it. There is also some chipping and wear to the marble around the edge of the hole but not visible on the shelf; no other chips or damage to marble. Brass finish is rather nice overall, some patina but generally clean and even. Some minor tarnishing and hand wear around the top, a few minor scratches here and there, small area of edge rubbing in one spot but generally smooth edges. No bends, no cracks, no dents.
