Hallmarked in London in 1783 by Barrage Davenport, this delightful, George III, antique, sterling silver sugar basket, has a half fluted body with bead borders, a blue glass liner and a beaded swing handle. Featuring pretty pierced floral motifs surrounded with swag and swirl engraving, and an original crest in the cartouche the sugar basket measures 5.25″(13cm) tall, by 4″(10cm) in diameter and has a silver weight of 7.3 troy ounces.
