Katy is a sculptural side table designed by Adolfo Abejon, made of stainless steel sheets. Katy was born from metallic origami, following a series of folds and unions that end up creating a functional volume. This is a limited series of ten pieces.
Adolfo Abejon’s designs are characterized by the handmade process as well as the belief in small production and in limited series. The production is based on the respect for local craft, highlighting communication between every aspect involved in the creation process. Dismissing the concept of mass-production and utilizing a collaborative mentality; this concept merges humble aesthetics and quality philosophy, the conscious essence of the materials and the comprehension of their honesty. Calmness and purity are two traits which allow this design to peacefully coexist with its environment.
